Our remote coaching options are built to support you—no matter where you chase elevation. Whether you’re looking for a structured training plan, personalized programming, or high-touch coaching, APL offers strength & conditioning and endurance coaching tiers to match your goals.

All remote coaching includes:

  • Expert-designed training tailored to your sport, lifestyle, and objectives
  • Flexible delivery through TrainingPeaks (endurance) or TeamBuildr (strength)
  • Coach communication and feedback (varies by tier)
  • Options for strength-only, endurance-only, or a hybrid of both

Whether you’re training for a big objective or just want guidance without guesswork, there’s a remote path that fits.

Most programs have a minimum commitment:

  • Small Group Coaching: 1 month minimum
    • 7 Day Money Back Guarantee – if it doesn’t feel like a good fit, you get a 100% refund
  • Remote Coaching: 3-month minimum for strength or endurance; 

We offer flexible options after the minimum term. You’re not locked into a long-term contract, but we recommend committing to see meaningful results.

Absolutely! APL encourages you to combine group coaching with independent training. The programs are designed to complement your personal schedule. You’ll get guidance on what to do outside group sessions, so you’re consistently progressing with a strategy. Group training complement individual training for:

  • Skiers (alpine, Nordic, freeride/freestyle, ski mountaineering)
  • Mountain bikers and gravel riders
  • Trail and ultra runners
  • Climbers and alpinists
  • Youth and developing athletes
  • Masters athletes with long game goals
  • Anyone returning from injury and rebuilding with intention

Whether you’re chasing podiums or just want to stay strong and durable for big days outside, we’re here to help you train with purpose and progress with clarity.


We do offer limited 1:1 private coaching for athletes with highly specific needs or goals. Space is extremely limited, as our focus is on small groups and remote coaching. If you’re interested, we recommend booking a Performance Strategy Session first so we can determine if private coaching is the best fit.

Lab services (VO2 max, threshold testing, body comp, etc.) are available à la carte — no You don’t need to be an APL athlete to access our performance lab. All testing services—like VO₂ max, threshold testing, and body composition—are available à la carte and open to anyone looking for high-quality data to guide their training.

Whether you’re working with another coach or just want objective metrics, you’re welcome to book a session.

Our primary Small Group Coaching sessions run:
Monday – Friday (morning only)

  • Morning blocks: 6 AM, 7 AM, and 8 AM
  • Evening blocks: 5 PM and 6 PM

Outside of those sessions, we offer availability for:

  • Member Access
  • Performance Strategy Sessions
  • Camps and Workshops
  • Lab Testing by appointment
  • 1:1 Personal Training (limited)

Fridays and Weekends may be available for special events or sessions depending on coach availability.

 

We recommend booking ahead for anything outside the main coaching blocks—especially assessments and lab testing.

Membership to APL HQ in Carbondale will be available upon request and only if you have trained with an APL coach for a minimum of 3 months. Membership access is an exclusive program to maintain flow and space availability for the other programs in the facility.
